comment: I just had to do this. The author of the book, Boris Koch told me that the story was about a young boy, fascinated by the image of the mercenary Shadowrunners in the (fictional SR-Universe's) media, decided to become one himself. Well, then Boris continued: "And he's doing fine, at least until the middle the book..." I could hear Boris's vicious grin through the fone and knew exactly that this could not mean anything remotely good for the juvenile protagonist, especially counting on Boris's twisted sense of humor and bleak storytelling. comment: I know Transformers from my childhood and some say that drawing 'tech' is what I do best. IDW gave me free reign with this cover so I (naturally) selected the most iconic Transfomers of all, Optimus Prime, to be the centerpiece of my illustration. A few years prior I did a similar Megatron piece in a different style (also with a destroyed city in the background) to apply for jobs from Dreamwave, the former license holder, good thing I never got hired probably, because the firm went belly up harming many freelancers associated with the company.
