No time for an intro.

Product news:
Jihad Hot Spot: Terra made it out as a Gencon release in the US a couple weeks back. In Germany Mephisto published #49 featuring a 5 page Degenesis article by Valentin Maier, illustrated by yours truly, get it in the Mephisto shop, or flip through it online! In Germany you can now sign up for the two day seminar “Digital Colors” at VHS Bielefeld and if you are a student of English maybe “Killing Shakespeare” is something for you at Bielefeld University? One of the two “Best-of” Transformers book coves will be available late this year: You can already pre-order “Best of Grimlock” with my cover art from IDW publishing (see link).

In the works:
Coming up in October are a bunch of Shadowrun illustrations for Germany’s Berlin sourcebook – if you want to see what it looks like when an anarcho punk kicks a neo nazi ork full throttle in the balls, this is a book for you! Also, Mephisto will celebrate #50 with a special 16-page Shadowrun supplement for which a couple color illustrations are due, apart from the usual stuff. ;-) Also, working on a historical fantasy cover illustration for the industrious people from Göttingen who brought you “Die Wächer von Göttingen” and some more illustrations from the fantasy genre are on my schedule as well.  This and many other projects are looming on the horizon but nothing that I can talk about, yet.

Events:
Just returned from Gencon Indi and loved it! Signing at Catalyst Game Labs and meeting up with artist friends from all over the world. Got Steve Prescotts fantastic new artbook Aggregate featuring all pencil art work, highly recommended. Sorry I didn’t mention my trip to Indianapolis in time on my website but work and Real Life (TM) just kept me away from that. If you’d like an impression what it was like, check out this short video made by some Shadowrun fan at Gencon (Thanks for posting this guys!) My next conventions will be the Monde du Jeu game fair in Paris. Yes, Paris, France. My first time there, and I will be looking forward to signing at the French Shadowrun publishers booth – Blackbook Editions. I might bring some special goodys for the SR-fans in France! In Germany I will indeed attend Essen SPIEL fair, as every year, and maybe even the Frankfurt Book fair…more on that in due time if it happens.

Deutschland News:
Endlich. Blasphemie! Mehr Infos in meiner Uni-Sektion. Begrenzte Plätze, aber Gasthörer willkommen. Bis bald!
